Over the Top
Great little ice cream shop located on historic Pine Hill in Wiggins, Mississippi. The interior is beautifully decorated with exposed brick walls, a honey-colored wood floor and ceiling and turquoise and coral furniture. Over the top specializes in literally ‘over the top’ ice cream creations with a tongue-in-cheek local flair. The ‘Hurricane Katrina’ is a mixture of ‘garbage can’ ice cream with chopped up Nestle’s crunch, Twix and chocolate chips. Before the local pickle plant closed, Wiggins was the pickle capital of the U.S. Over the Top’s tribute to the town’s pickle past is the ‘Pickle Vat Challenge’, which is one scoop of all 16 flavors of ice cream topped with caramel, hot fudge, marshmallows, peanuts, cashews, pecans, M&M’s, butterscotch chips, rainbow sprinkles and a giant dill pickle!
